Final Couse summary

When this course began I was very worried I would not enjoy being in this class. I wasn't to excited on the fact the only time I was able to take this class it was a writing to learn course. I have already taken my writing to learn courses so I was a little frustrated that I was taking another. After finishing up this course I realized that I wasn't the best with keeping up with the blog assignments but I feel this was because I went into it with a negative attitude. If I would  have had a better look on this being a writing to learn course I feel my writing grade would have been better.

I did love the freedom and creative opportunity that we were given in this class. In course I have taken in the past, the teacher tells you what your project should look like and the information. That is one thing I feel made me love this class, I was able to make choices and do my project over things that interested me.  Having freedom in this class made me want to learn and know how to do new things with photoshop, indesign, and illustrator.

My favorite project that we did in this class would have to the the magazine project, I really enjoyed this project because I would love to work for a magazine some day. Before this project I had no clue that each magazine could have such different specs. I thought that all had the same basic layout and size. I learned the most on this project and it also was my favorite design.

After taking this class I feel my skills have improved a great deal. I have gained confidence in my work and believe that this class had made me have a better eye for the visual design of everything from appropriate fonts to packaging.

I would recommend this class to anyone interested in graphics, out of all the classes I have taken this is by far the best one

In May Dawson was at the movies and noticed his logo in the trailer for Conan the Barbarian. This lawsuit is still currently in process, due to the fact the company was placed with several lawsuits on different things because of this film.
