Direct Mail
Variable data printing is a customized type of printing in which a designer creates the main elements of a piece of mail and then certain aspects of each piece to match the target audience they are trying to reach. Sometimes the changes can be as as small as is the address and name, this is still considered
variable data no matter how small the change. My direct mail is done for my aunts bakery she does out of her home. The target audience for this piece is going to be send to people who are planning a wedding and the other one is send out to families. The purpose of the mailer is to increase business. My call to action is having people bring in the card to recieve a discount on their order. The trim size for this project is a 7x5 postcard with a .125" bleed on all sides
and a .25" margin. My final project will be printed on a 7x5 postcard, double
sided using a coated paper. The image I used for this project are from corbis.com a royality free website for use of their photos. The cost for this a PSU printing services for this piece is .35 cents for one.
